WEEE Independent Audits

Under the WEEE Regulations, large (>400 tonnes per year) Approved Authorised Treatment Facilities (AATFs) and Approved Exporters (AEs) must submit an Independent Audit to the Environment Agency by 31st March each year.

These audits have to be conducted by a person or organisation that meets the Agency criteria. Staff at 360 Environmental have undergone ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 lead auditor training and are now registered with IRCA, one of the qualifications recognised by the EA for auditing.

360 Environmental has been involved with the WEEE Regulations at a practical level since their introduction. We also have in-depth knowledge of the waste industry and the way that the WEEE system works.

We can therefore bring a level of practical knowledge and understanding to the Independent Audit that might not always be available through other approved routes.
